COMING UP...

- Feb. 17 - Kids Heart Challenge (4K)
100th Day Challenge - Like last year, we will challenge our entire building to make 100 positive contacts with families. Preferably, this is a phone call, but email, notes, TP messages work too. The chart will be posted in the lounge. Our goal would be to complete this chart by the end of February.
BIMAS - The window will open Monday afternoon. Please remember this is not a summary of your experience with the student, but a quick check on the last 7 days. Data needs to be entered before leaving on Jan. 20th.
School Attendance Confirmation Forms - We will NOT be sending home an attendance confirmation form. I will be communicating 25-26 school assignments through email.
REMINDERS:
Restaurant night out - Our PAC will be having a Chipotle Night for families on Jan. 14th. Please mention this in any upcoming communications you send out.
Perseverance Prompting (Remind)
Prompts are reminders close in time to when a skill is needed. For example, right before a challenging activity, prompt students to be ready to use their Perseverance skills. Identify 1 moment each day this week to prompt students to put their Perseverance skills into action right before they engage in an activity or task. Ask 1-2 students what Perseverance might look like in that situation and/or why Persevering might be important to them.
