Win the week! 😎

PAC Survey - The PAC loves to plan and support all of you!  They, like us, are always looking for ways to improve.  Please give them your feedback as they begin their planning for next school year.  Click here to complete the survey, if you have not already completed it.  Thank you!

End of Year Checklist - Click here to view the end of year checklist.  Certified staff will need to review this document with Beth or Jean prior to you leaving on June 6th.

Report Cards - Thank you for all the work you are doing on the completion of Report Cards.  This also need to be finalized before you leave on June 6th.  Parents will receive communication on June 9th that report cards can be viewed on their Parent Portal.

Labeling Furniture - A recent email communication was sent from Chris McDaniel regarding the process for removal of current classroom furniture.  Please pay attention to those specifics and let me know if you have any questions.

Field Day Schedule - Click here for the Field Day draft.  Please let Brooke W. know asap if you see anything that needs to be reconsidered.  Field Day is a fun day, but does require everyone to be a part of the fun.  Thank you for supporting and participating in this fun event with our students!

Last Day Schedule - As noted above, there will be no specials on the last day of school.  We will have a 5K recess and a 1st grade recess, including a freeze-pop.

Creative Care (Review) - Week 4

Select 1 student with whom you are having behavioral challenges and protect time to collaborate on a plan with the student and/or their family.  Ask questions like, “How can we support each other today and tomorrow?” or, “What is 1 Creative way we could solve this problem together?”

Sticky Kindness Challenge (Role Model)

Let’s finish strong by intentionally “sticking” to our commitment to Kindness! Grab a few sticky notes and let's fill the doors in our building with notes of Kindness and encouragement for fellow staff members. It only takes a couple of minutes to write a note to tell a fellow staff member what you have appreciated about them this year. Challenge yourself to write 2 or 3 each day this week and stick them on the door of their recipient. You could even get students involved. Watch the doors fill with Kindness as the week continues!

Notes of Gratitude (Role Model)

Challenge yourself to thank your students’ caregivers this week! Use this simple template to send a note or an email home to express your appreciation for the caregivers raising the kids who have been a part of your class this year.

~Janet & Jennifer for extra communications regarding book returns!

~Shana for another amazing concert performance!  The students do so well with remembering all the lyrics, choreography and using their proud singing voices!

**One of the great comments received about the concert:
"The 1st grade concert was absolutely wonderful this morning!!  I was so impressed with everything -  the partner songs, harmonies, and how many lyrics and hand motions they had to know (and that everyone knew them!).  You have done an amazing job not only preparing them for this concert, but for making music a fun and exciting place for our young students throughout the year.  I know these concerts are only a snapshot as to what we do with our students, but as a colleague I can see the amount of effort and work you put in with them, and as a parent I am so appreciative that my own child has developed such a love for music because of you.  Congratulations on such a successful concert!"

~Brandon for the 1st grade Wish Flower art project!
